Welcome to ASLIS! We want you to succeed as an interpreter with our referral agency. To assist you in your success we have developed this Orientation Guide to serve as a reference for everything you will need to know. If you do not see an answer to your question, please contact us.

ASLIS is proud to have a wonderful and unique phone application ASLIS On the Go. The app synchronizes live with our referral software, showing you all available jobs based off of your ASLIS uploaded credentials and selected areas of specialty. The app is still in its development phase and we will continue to be updated.

Our App allows you to see available jobs based on your ASLIS credentials, specialty areas, and our consumer preference lists. Make sure you keep your credentials up to date on the ASLIS Portal Credential Page to ensure you are not missing out on any potential job opportunities!
Log into your ASLIS On the Go app from your mobile device.
Click on the Open tab on the top right to view the list of all available assignments.
Open jobs that match your credentials and specialties on the ASLIS Portal will appear under the Requested or Open tab.
Deaf Consumer or Company requests will appear in the Requested tab.
To hide a job from the Open tab, click on the red hide eye icon to the left of the job details.
ASLIS staff will show that you have hid the job from your schedule to know you are not available.
If you accidentally hide a job, an eye icon will appear on the top right above the Pending tab. Once you select the eye icon all jobs you have hid that are still available will reappear under the Open tab.
To bid on a job, click the green calendar button to the right of the time of the job.
You do not need to add your name, as your bid is synced to your ASLIS Account.
Add important notes to your bid for referral staff to see (time offers, late arrivals, with a team, etc.).
Once you bid on a job, it will move under the Pending tab.
Jobs under the Pending tab are not considered confirmed, therefore are not billable. ASLIS will consider all factors of the assignment and the interpreter’s who bid prior to confirming an interpreter. If an assignment has a team, you will see the job in Pending until a team is found.
If you are confirmed, you will receive a job confirmation to your email, and the job will be moved to your Schedule in your app.
If you are no longer available for a job that is under Pending, notify ASLIS staff immediately.
To decline a job from the Requested tab, click on the red x icon to the left of the job details.
ASLIS staff will show that you have declined the job
