Event Details

This program is provided by ASLIS and supported by grant funding from the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division.

An important part of interpreting is ethics. This Independent Study offers a first glimpse into supervision/case conferencing and an opportunity to reflect on how they impact ethical decision making as an interpreter. You will read 2 articles and write a 2-page minimum reflection paper. Questions are provided.

Educational Objectives:

1) Demonstrate an understanding of Supervision/Case Conferencing.

2) Identify ways that Case Conferencing can help with making ethical decisions.

3) Dissect a situation that challenged my ethical decision making while interpreting.
