Event Details
Remote interpreting teams can make or break a session. At their best, they flow like a seamless dance – interpreters anticipating each other’s needs, supporting one another effortlessly, and delivering exceptional service. At their worst, they can leave you feeling isolated and struggling to maintain quality. But with the right preparation and mindset, every remote teaming experience can be a positive one.
In this session, we’ll walk through concrete strategies for successful remote interpreter teaming at every stage: before, during, and after the assignment. You’ll learn how to lay the groundwork for smooth collaboration, maintain effective communication throughout the session, and reflect productively afterward. We’ll explore key questions to ask yourself and your teammates to ensure everyone is aligned and prepared.
Educational Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Recognize and foster the essential elements that create positive remote teaming experiences
- Formulate strategic questions to enhance team preparation and communication
- Understand common remote teaming challenges and develop solutions to minimize their impact on service delivery
ASLIS virtual workshops are NOT recorded for later viewing.
