Event Details

April 22nd is Earth Day! The first Earth Day was in 1970 – Earth Day 2020 marked 50 years of Earth Day! While we have a specific day to celebrate the Earth and our environment, many are saying “every day is Earth Day”. This Independent Study is a chance to research and reflect on how to be more eco-friendly. You will be required to write a 1-page minimum paper about those prompts.

Educational Objectives:

1) Research Earth Day and find current environmental news stories.

2) Dissect what I learned about current environmental issues.

3) Evaluate my current routine and define how I can be more eco-friendly.
