During her spare time, she loves to spend time with her grandmama, who she is very close with. Because of her professional background, she is best at ASL mentoring. She just completed her required coursework for her Ed.D. From her knowledge of harvesting gifts of others. She can model the best practice of how ASL is signed based on linguistic theories. She does a great job asking questions that encourage one to reflect their signing skills while on the growth mindset.
The Education-2-Excellence Program is provided by ASLIS and is supported by grant funding from the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division.
