Event Details

The first full week of May is Teacher Appreciation Week and the first Wednesday of May is Interpreter Appreciation Day! These two educational roles are vital in the K-12 setting and often do not get the thanks and support deserved. You will be required to read 2 articles and write a 3-page minimum paper. Questions are provided.

Educational Objectives:

1) Define the roles of the educational interpreter in the K-12 setting.

2) List ways I can show my appreciation for fellow interpreters and teachers.

3) Self-assess my current thoughts on educational interpreters and how the field of interpreting views that niche.
