Event Details

Earn 0.1 CEUs by completing this Independent Study. This Independent Study will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about vision loss and interpreting for DeafBlind clients. You will be required to write a 2-page minimum paper. Questions are provided.

Educational Objectives

1. Define vision loss and how it impacts my interpreting practice.

2. Compare how interpreting for sighted and DeafBlind consumers differ.

3. Assess my current experience interpreting for the DeafBlind community and consider future goals related to DeafBlind interpreting.
