MedMaster is a hybrid training program designed for experienced and working medical interpreters to enhance their skills by completing independent homework, attending two days of structured workshops, and preparing a case study to present to the group.
The online structured modules will include the “Body Language” curriculum and additional medical resources developed by the CATIE Center. You will be required to complete four out of the six modules by the program end date. Choose from the following:

Medicine Cabinet
Upon a successful completion of the MedMaster training program, you will be able to effectively navigate concepts present in both medical and legal settings and master your overall medical interpreting skills.
Program minimum requirements to obtain full CEU credits
To earn up to 3.7 CEUs participants MUST :
Complete 4 out of the 6 modules
Attend the 2 on-site trainings
Prepare a case study to present during the on-site training
MedMaster is provided by ASLIS and supported by grant funding from the Minnesota Department of Human Services: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division.
