Presenter Bio
As a genderfluid trans Khmer Deaf and a child of refugee parents, my journey has been marked by a rich tapestry of experiences. I’ve been working as a Deaf interpreter for almost 6 years. Beyond my primary role, I’ve work as a guest speaker for 4 years, delving into complexities of interpreting services and exploring topics related to LGBTQIA, Deaf, and BIPOC/Black and Brown community. Recently, I expanded my professional horizon by work as a teacher aide, further solidifying my commitment to education and inclusion. Born and raised in California, my path led me to Washington in the summer of 2020, amidst the unprecedented times of the COVID era. My journey, rooted in resilience and advocacy, continues to evolve as I strive to illuminate the interactions of identity, communication, and community.
