In this 3-hour workshop, we will review the types of feeds an interpreter can use to support their colleague as well as methods for feeding. In particular, we will look at process, correction, enhancement, and confirmation feeds (Hoza, 2010). Modalities will include through ASL, fingerspelling, written and spoken English or forms of pidgin sign. This will be done through a brief review of the types of feeds and then by working in teams from an English source that will be transliterated for Deaf interpreters, into an ASL target text.
