Krystle Chambers has been an interpreter for ten years and a mentor and educator for eight years. She earned a Master of Arts Degree in Interpreting Studies with an emphasis in Teaching at Western Oregon University. Krystle has several published works pertaining to ASL/English interpreting, interpreting with the DeafBlind community, and mentoring the next generation of ASL interpreters. She has worked in roles such as chief editor and researcher.  

Krystle mentors in various fields but focuses on English-to-ASL interpreting, ASL-to-English interpreting, STEM interpreting, and ProTactile/Deafblind interpreting. She believes every day is an opportunity to learn and grow, both in professional and personal life. She has traveled and worked with Deaf communities abroad in Central and South America, where she also used to live. When Krystle is not working, she enjoys being out in nature through hiking and camping and has a small homestead where she raises her own food and has dairy goats for land clearing and dairy products. She is enthusiastic about learning new things and brings that enthusiasm to the learning environment, whether in the classroom or virtual.
